Specialised Services for the Older Person
Saffcare provides day care for frail, elderly people who are socially isolated.
We are committed to providing a challenging weekly programme that is user led and changes every month. There are regular residential opportunities and interesting and varied activities including craft work, regular trips-out, exercise classes, Information Technology, and reminiscence work. Visiting speakers include the local police on safety matters, advice on welfare benefits, and healthy living promotions.
We receive referrals from the Leicester City Adults & Housing Department and other agencies, but if you, or someone you are caring for might benefit from attending, please contact us and we will ensure that an assessment is carried out.
