Youth Projects
SRC Playschemes/Monday Specials Club
The Saffron Resource Centre has a reputation for providing high quality play/youth activities throughout the year, including the summer holidays.
The three-week summer play scheme works with young people who have special needs, and seeks to challenge the boundaries placed on them by society in general. Our week long specialised programme consists of rock-climbing, skateboard workshops, high roping… and lots, lots more.
Let’s keep our fingers crossed for good weather this year!

Gary, Claire, Steve and Ady make up the SYPP team based at the Saffron Resource Centre. Set up in 1994, we exist to help local young people in all areas of their lives by providing confidential and emotional support along with practical advice on a range of issues including family, drugs, bullying, alcohol, school, smoking, friends, sexual health and relationships.
Call into the Saffron Resource Centre or catch us during an evening street session, to find out more about the sports, band practice, girl’s football, sexual health and ‘into work’ activities that run every week.
